Journey to the Mountains - 2

Avigyan Roy

My artistic journey is an ongoing exploration of thoughts, emotions, and subtle inner experiences translated primarily through the fluid medium of watercolor. Moving away from literal stories, my paintings are designed to converse with viewers, offering them an immersive experience of unique expressions rather than a fixed narrative. I blend realistic elements with lively, abstract forms—frequently utilizing flowing, cylindrical tubes and hollow tunnel shapes. These dynamic, borderless motifs represent the fluid dimension of time, capturing how our unstable lives and thoughts float continuously through existence. By rejecting rigidity, this journey remains an entirely flexible space of creative freedom where I find my truest sense of satisfaction.
