Artist Kalyani Gulage (Born: 06 June 1981) is a Pune-based contemporary Indian artist whose work reflects a profound engagement with symbolism, spatial exploration, feminine narratives, and cultural consciousness. Her artistic journey represents a thoughtful synthesis of academic discipline, thematic continuity, and evolving visual language. From an early stage in her artistic education, Kalyani demonstrated a deep sensitivity toward form, texture, and conceptual structure. She completed her A.T.D. from Kailash Kala Niketan, Beed, where she developed a strong grounding in drawing and compositional fundamentals. She further pursued G.D. Art (Applied) and Dip. Ed. at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalay, Pune, institutions known for shaping rigorous artistic training. Expanding her academic foundation, she earned a Bachelor of Visual Arts (B.V.A.) degree from S.N.D.T. Women’s Arts and Commerce College, Pune.
