Dipti Soni
Dipti Ravindrakumar Soni is a self-taught artist based in Maninagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Born on 17 December 1980, she has been passionate about drawing and sketching since childhood. Although she did not receive formal education in fine arts, her deep interest, continuous practice, and artistic surroundings helped her develop her skills and confidence as an artist. After her marriage in 2006 to artist Ravi Soni, she became part of a family deeply connected with the world of art. Her husband, father-in-law, and brother-in-law are accomplished artists who have received recognition and awards through Lalit Kala Akademi. Being surrounded by such an artistic environment encouraged Dipti to pursue her long-held passion more seriously. She works primarily with pencil, acrylic, and oil on canvas.
